What are common exhibit mistakes?

Answered By Ellen Hambey, Editor

In having an exhibit, there are too many mistakes committed by the exhibitors. The following are some of the common mistakes in exhibits.
  • No proper exhibit-marketing plan. There should be proper exhibit marketing and tactical plan of action because it is the critical starting point.
  • No well-defined promotional plan. There should be a proper and well-defined plan for promotion.
  • Improper use of direct mail. The proper use of direct mail is still one of the most popular promotional vehicles for exhibit.
  • Improper use of press relation. Public relation is the most effective and successful methods for generating large volumes of direct inquiries and sales.
